Brush Lettering With Tony Segale

Participants in this workshop will learn how to handle a brush for lettering, and develop the skills to render the three basic lettering styles – sans serif, roman and script. After practice and understanding of ‘swinging the brush’, we will use that skill in the painting of a watercolor.
Tony will demonstrate and then you can paint, with plenty of time for individual guidance. We will explore color, technique, value and design principals. At the end of our day we will review the finer points of our paintings, and leave the enemies at the gate.
